MATH 1001: Quantitative Reasoning
This KSU course focuses on building quantitative reasoning skills essential for making informed decisions in everyday life. Students will explore topics such as logic, probability, data analysis, and mathematical modeling. Through problem-solving, they will learn to represent and manipulate information in verbal, numerical, graphical, and symbolic forms, applying both inductive and deductive reasoning to real-world contexts. Emphasis is placed on modeling situations using data, drawing logical conclusions, and using technology to analyze and synthesize information effectively. The course prepares students to think critically and apply mathematical reasoning across a variety of practical situations.
